Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to shape and scale our cloud infrastructure for global growth from Singapore. You will own the DevOps strategy, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive reliability, security, and performance across platforms.

You bring 5+ years in DevOps, deep Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps skills, plus hands-on experience with data streaming tools like Kafka or Flink, and programming ability to ship observable platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps.
• Data streaming platforms such as Kafka, Flink, or Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security to support rapid growth.
• Collaborate across cross-functional and geographic teams to align DevOps standards.
• Build and enhance observability, incident response, and automation to improve stability.
• Drive consensus on tooling and best practices across geographies.
