Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering for its Global Infrastructure team in Singapore. You will lead multiple feature teams, shape the technical vision, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE.

You will collaborate with stakeholders worldwide and mentor engineers globally to scale fintech capabilities. The role emphasizes leadership, product thinking, and business acumen, with a focus on architecture, distributed systems, and developer

Qualifications

• 10+ years in modern engineering practices focused on Developer Tools, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, Productivity, CI, and Quality Engineering.
• Experience managing managers is a must.
• Strong CS fundamentals with proficiency in Java or Kotlin, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Exposure to high-volume distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with architecture and system design.
• Preferred experience with GCP; proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is also valuable.
• Experience managing a global team.
• FinTech/Payments background advantageous.
