Airwallex is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to expand and operate our global cloud network infrastructure, spanning multiple regions and cloud providers. You will design scalable networking solutions, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, compliant operations across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to support high-availability services, manage global connectivity, and drive improvements in network visibility and incident response.

Formación

• CCNP / JNCIP-level experience with strong networking foundation.
• Experience in a mixed vendor environment (Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba).
• 3+ years AWS networking in production environments.
• Strong documentation habits and change-control understanding.
• Basic understanding of GCP networking concepts.
• Understanding of AI-assisted workflows and practical use cases.
• Solid CLI troubleshooting for JunOS, IOS, etc.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
• Strong understanding of BGP and route filtering.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and expand Airwallex’s global cloud network infrastructure into new regions and markets while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Help design the team structure and size for the future.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and secure production network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud environments.
• Manage global connectivity over international leased lines and domestic internet connections.
• Own configuration and troubleshooting of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud environments.
• Act as first responder or escalation point for complex network issues and produce after-action reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions and support business initiatives across regions.
• Work with technical and non-technical teams to troubleshoot network issues across physical and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
