Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a senior network engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, highly available corporate networking across our APAC, EMEA, and Americas locations. You will own CorpNet, mentor engineers, and drive automation using Terraform and Ansible.

You will work from the Singapore office five days a week, collaborating with IT, security, and product teams to support a fast-growing global business.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing, implementing and maintaining Juniper and Palo Alto networks.
• Experience in global multi-vendor networking (Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba).
• Networking solutions for China and international connectivity.
• Strong Wi-Fi fundamentals and endpoint engineering (Juniper Mist, Cisco Meraki or Aruba).
• Expert CLI across JunOS and IOS.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex corporate networks.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information in a global context.
• Leadership experience with a network engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale CorpNet foundations as we grow.
• Design, deploy and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless and VPN globally.
• Design multi-region hybrid network patterns across offices, data centres and cloud.
• Configure and operate routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and APs.
• Own CorpNet as first responder for incidents; conduct after-action reviews.
• Collaborate with CorpSec, ProdSec, Eng, IT to integrate network solutions.
• Automate using IaC (Terraform, Ansible) for consistency.
• Develop and maintain network documentation.
