ST Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, Network to design, implement, operate, maintain and optimize the enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, campuses, offices, and cloud environments. You will handle routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE and Zero Trust security, working across infrastructure and vendor teams.

The role demands hands-on technical excellence, ownership of complex issues, and collaboration with cybersecurity and application teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network environments.
  • Experience in implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Experience working with multi-site environments, data centers, cloud platforms, and remote connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure and services.
  • Manage, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize core/distribution switches, wireless controllers, APs, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and SD-WAN/SASE platforms.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions; participate in after-hours support and major incident response.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer, Network to support the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's enterprise network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical expert responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network services across data centers, campuses, offices, cloud environments, and remote connectivity services. This role requires strong technical expertise across routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust technologies.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent troubleshooting capabilities, takes ownership of complex technical issues, and works collaboratively across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, application, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Support
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure and services.
  • Manage, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize:
  • Core Switches
  • Distribution Switches
  • Wireless Controllers
  • Wireless Access Points
  • Firewalls
  • VPN Solutions
  • Load Balancers
  • SD-WAN Platforms
  • SASE Solutions
  • ZTNA Platforms
  • Monitor network performance, capacity utilization, and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Respond to network incidents, outages, and service degradation issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in after-hours support, maintenance activities, and major incident response when required.
Network Implementation & Project Delivery
  • Deploy, configure, and integrate network infrastructure components for business projects and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Execute network migrations, upgrades, and technology rollouts.

  • Perform network cutovers and change activities while minimizing business disruption.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
Network Security
  • Implement and maintain secure network configurations in line with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Manage firewall policies, VPN configurations, network segmentation, and access control requirements.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and network security hardening initiatives.
  • Assist cybersecurity teams during incident investigations and threat containment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Manage:
  • AWS Direct Connect
  • Site-to-Site VPN Connectivity
  • Cloud Network Security Controls
  • Troubleshoot cloud networking and connectivity issues impacting business services.
  • Work closely with telecommunications providers, managed service partners, and technology vendors to resolve service issues.
  • Coordinate circuit provisioning, upgrades, and fault resolution activities.
  • Escalate and manage incidents with carriers and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
  • Validate vendor-delivered solutions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, operating procedures, configuration standards, and technical documentation.
  • Perform proactive health checks and network assessments.
  • Recommend and implement improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability and performance.
  • Support network automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain network inventory, asset records, and configuration baselines.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Proven experience in implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments, data centers, cloud platforms, and remote connectivity solutions.
  • Experience working with telecommunications providers and managed service vendors.
  • Strong experience participating in network projects, migrations, and technology refresh exercises.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
