Job summary

sggovterp seeks a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineer to deliver geotechnical services and project management for slope stabilisation initiatives within the Greater Sentosa Master Plan. You will oversee projects from inception to handover, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance.

The role requires a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with at least 12 years post-graduate experience and 5+ years in slope stabilisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, with a major in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in geotechnical engineering including slope stabilisation works.
• Experience in at least 1 deep underground infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies on Master Plan development projects from inception to handover.
• Lead slope stabilisation projects and geotechnical engineering matters for the Greater Sentosa Master Plan.
• Manage and coordinate projects through the entire life-cycle, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Provide technical input for geotechnical designs and slope stabilisation analyses.
• Develop briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for consultancy and construction contracts.
• Identify interface issues and coordinate mitigation with all parties.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and partners; report on progress through site visits.
