Job summary

Singapore Public Service seeks a senior Geotechnical Engineer to deliver slope stabilisation and geotechnical design for the Greater Sentosa Master Plan. You will manage multi-disciplinary projects from inception to handover, provide technical input, develop briefs and specifications, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires extensive field supervision, reporting, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical major.
Minimum 12 years post-graduate experience in construction, including geotechnical and slope stabilisation works.
Experience in at least one deep underground infrastructure project.
Registration as Specialist Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering would be an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and partners on Master Plan development from inception to handover.
Lead slope stabilisation projects and geotechnical engineering for GSMP.
Manage project lifecycles and coordinate across disciplines.
Provide technical input for geotechnical designs and analyses.
Develop project briefs and technical specifications for procurement.
Identify interface issues and mitigation measures.
Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
Conduct site visits and report on progress.
Organise meetings with stakeholders and agencies.
