Job summary

geoalliance consultants pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support tender submissions and project delivery for government agencies in Singapore.

You will undertake geotechnical design for MRT stations, underground structures and deep excavations, ensuring designs meet the Basis of Design and client requirements. The role requires proficiency in MicroStation and PLAXIS, strong interpretation of ground conditions, and the ability to guide junior engineers while liaising with

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant geotechnical design experience.
• Experience with underground structures and deep excavations for senior role; fresh grads may apply as Geotechnical Engineer.
• Proficient in MicroStation and PLAXIS.
• Able to interpret ground conditions and prepare GIR.
• Familiar with geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes 2, 3, 7 and 8.
• Independent, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake geotechnical engineering design for MRT stations, buildings, civil infrastructure, underground structures and deep excavations.
• Ensure engineering design and deliverables meet client requirements and the approved Basis of Design.
• Coordinate project submissions to local authorities and provide technical support during the construction stage.
• Liaise with the engineering team, QPs, clients, consultants and relevant authorities on technical matters.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, where applicable.
