Job summary

emerald project pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil/Geotechnical Design Engineer to execute detailed designs, prepare calculations and review drawings to meet customer specifications and applicable codes. The role emphasizes delivering safe, compliant infrastructure with proactive client and authority liaison.

The successful candidate will lead multi-disciplinary collaboration, mentor junior engineers, and ensure technical excellence across projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural or geotechnical design.
• Proficiency with engineering design software and analytical tools.
• Knowledge of Euro Code 2 and Euro Code 3.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed building and civil infrastructure projects including geotechnical, underground excavation, and tunnelling works.
• Perform structural and infrastructure analyses to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate project submissions and approvals with local authorities; manage technical liaison during construction.
• Communicate technical information effectively with clients, consultants and authorities to resolve design issues.
• Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers to enhance team capability.
