Job summary

Soitec Microelectronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a furnace specialist to maintain and optimize high-temperature equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor fab.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and reliability of furnace systems. You will collaborate with process engineers to fine-tune thermal processes, analyze performance data, and drive improvements in uptime, yield, and MTTR.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of furnace systems and components.
• Experience with thermal processes and related equipment.
• Ability to perform PM and CM and manage spares.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and problem solving methods (8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Familiar with safety standards and cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furnace equipment.
• Troubleshoot failures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Manage spare parts and track critical components.
• Support process engineers to optimize tool parameters.
• Document maintenance activities and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase MTBF/MTTR.
