Job summary

Soitec Microelectronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain, repair and troubleshoot semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring high availability, reliability and safety in a fast-paced fab environment.

You will support equipment engineers on tool improvements, participate in CIP and process enhancements, and be adaptable to work independently with strong problem-solving skills. The role involves rotating 12-hour shifts to support production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NiTEC in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics or equivalent.
• Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good team player with strong communication and teamwork skills across stakeholders.
• Experience with metrology equipment for wafer inspection and AMHS systems is advantageous.
• Preference for experience with Implant, RTP, PLA, or furnace maintenance.
• Compliance with EHS and safety requirements, including chemical hazards and heights.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts to support production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Support equipment engineers on tool improvements to reduce downtime and improve cost efficiency.
• Record and document maintenance activities following SOPs and safety standards.
• Participate in CIP, equipment upgrades, and reliability projects.
• Learn quickly, work independently with minimal guidance, and apply problem-solving skills in a fast-paced fab.
