Job summary

State Street Corporation, a leader in Hedge Fund Services, seeks an AVP Client Services to oversee fund administration and accounting for multiple client funds. The role requires directing day-to-day processes, managing fee determinations, and ensuring timely financial reporting and NAV calculations.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in accounting with 3–4 years in management, and experience in private equity/private credit/hedge funds.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of accounting experience
• 3–4 years of managerial experience required
• Experience in hybrid private equity/private credit/hedge fund industry is a must
• CPA/CFA is a plus
• Experience with Investran or Geneva is favorable but not required

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day accounting and administration for several client sponsored investment funds.
• Manage all aspects of fund administration including income allocations and fees as per waterfall provisions.
• Oversee preparation/review of financial statements, partner capital statements and NAV.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation with external accounting firms.
• Lead and mentor a team of fund accountants and monitor performance.
• Foster collaboration across teams and onboard existing funds/new funds.
• Respond to client queries and manage client expectations within deadlines.
