Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior product manager to lead digital modernization and AI-enabled discovery for client-facing and public-sector engagements.

You will own the backlog, write clear user stories, and guide external technical teams with unambiguous specs. We value a decade of product leadership, strong stakeholder facilitation, and a business-focused view on modernization from legacy systems to cloud.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related discipline.
• 10+ years in digital product management or IT consulting, client-facing/Public sector preferred.
• Experience with legacy-to-cloud modernization from a business perspective.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools to support product discovery and backlog creation.
• Excellent stakeholder facilitation, user story writing, progress tracking and vendor alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional product backlog, write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and workflows.
• Track modernization project progress, report risks, and present dashboards to leadership.
• Use AI-enabled discovery to draft requirements, analyze pain points, iterate on features.
• Facilitate prioritization, evaluate change requests, protect timelines.
• Serve as primary/secondary liaison between teams and stakeholders for updates.

Job description

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Prefer Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology , or a related technical discipline(provides the background to communicate seamlessly with dev teams without needing to manage execution).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in digital product management or IT consulting, with a strong track record as an augmented expert in client-facing or public-sector engagements.
• Modernization Background: Previous experience navigating legacy-to-cloud application modernization or major system transformation projects from a functional/business perspective.
• AI Discovery Tooling: Excellent proficiency in using AI tools to streamline product discovery, generate backlog items, and run research workflows.
• Functional PM Expertise: Outstanding skills in stake holder facilitation, user story authoring, progress tracking, and vendor alignment (hands-on technical delivery/DevOps managed separately).

Key Responsibilities

• Product Backlog & User Stories: Own the functional product backlog. Write clear, detailed user stories, accept criteria, and process workflows to ensure external technical teams have unambiguous specifications.
• Project Governance & Progress Reporting: Keep modernization projects strictly on track. Track feature delivery against timelines, run status updates, communicate risks early, and present progress dashboards to executive leadership.
• AI-Accelerated Discovery and development support: Utilize AI and modern discovery tools to draft requirements, analyze user pain points, and iterate on feature designs efficiently.
• Scope & Priority Management: Facilitate prioritization workshops, evaluate change requests, and protect project timelines by balancing user needs against phase-one deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Serve as the primary/ secondary product liaison between working level teams and other stakeholders on updates and other issues as needed.
