Job summary

Sokin is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help scale our payments platform. You will own the full engineering lifecycle, focusing on backend development with frontend contributions, and work with a fast-growing, global team to deliver robust features.

In this role you’ll influence technical direction, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive high standards for code quality, performance and reliability across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with full lifecycle ownership from design to deployment.
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design to production.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and cross-functional teams to shape features.
• Lead architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes for reliability.
• Mentor junior developers to foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack apps using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular and SQL.
