Job summary

Plaud Inc. is building a real-world AI interface for professionals to amplify intelligence and productivity.

We are hiring a Backend Platform Engineer to own core platform capabilities and developer experience on the Plaud Developer Platform in Singapore. You will implement OAuth, multi-tenancy, and scalable APIs, collaborate across product, device, and AI services, and apply AI tools to accelerate engineering.

Qualifications

• 3 years of backend engineering experience with a focus on platform or API development.
• Solid hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization in production.
• Proven experience designing and shipping developer-facing APIs or SDKs.
• Ability to work independently in a complex, multi-system environment with ambiguity.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of core backend and platform capabilities for the Plaud Developer Platform, supporting Partner and Third-Party integrations.
• Apply and enforce best practices in OAuth authorization, access control, and multi-tenant architecture — with the ability to make independent decisions on implementation approach.
• Build and maintain standardized APIs, SDK interfaces, and developer onboarding workflows with minimal guidance.
• Drive cross-system solutions in collaboration with product, device, and AI service teams — taking clear accountability for delivery.
• Actively apply AI tools to accelerate engineering output across documentation, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Identify and lead platform stability, performance, and developer experience improvements proactively.

What You Will Do
