Job summary

The Future of Finance Institute (FFI) in Singapore is establishing an industry platform to advance AI, digital assets and next-generation financial infrastructure. It aims to help industry participants translate technological advances into practical capabilities, strengthening Singapore's position as a leading financial hub.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop and maintain full-stack applications, APIs and cloud services that support FFI's

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency with Angular and React for frontend.
• Experience with backend frameworks: Node.js/Express, Django/Flask, Spring Boot, or .NET Core.
• Hands-on with relational and NoSQL databases and caching (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking or FinTech is a plus.
• Secure coding practices for regulated environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications that support FFI's programmes and industry initiatives.
• Build digital platforms, services and APIs for financial institutions.
• Develop capabilities to enable industry capability development and implementation pathways.
• Design secure backend services, data platforms and system integrations.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, cloud and data environments to deliver reliable software.
• Work with financial institutions and researchers to translate needs into solutions.
• Shape architecture and engineering practices underpinning FFI's digital capabilities.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
