Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore invites applications for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help build digital capabilities for the Future of Finance Institute (FFI). You will work with financial institutions, technology firms and researchers to design and develop platforms, services and tools that apply AI, digital assets and next-generation financial infrastructure in Singapore.

This is a 1-year contract based in Singapore, offering opportunities to shape early-stage technology

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Angular and React for frontend development.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, Java or .NET Core backend.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Cloud platforms and containers (Docker/Kubernetes) experience.
• Experience in financial services or FinTech sectors.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and database design for performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications to support programs and initiatives.
• Build platforms, services and APIs for financial institutions to deploy new capabilities.
• Develop digital capabilities for industry capability development and implementation pathways.
• Design secure backend services, data platforms and integrations.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, cloud and data environments to deliver reliable software.
• Engage with institutions and researchers to translate challenges into tech solutions.
• Shape technical architecture and engineering practices for FFI's capabilities.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot and improve performance and security.
