Job summary

Illumina International Genomics Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Bioinformatics organization.

You will work on software that helps scientists organize, analyze, and interpret complex biological data from Illumina’s multi-omics technologies. You will deliver end-to-end features across interfaces, services, and data pipelines. You will collaborate with scientists, product partners, designers, and engineers, applying Scrum or Kanban practices to

Qualifications

• Experience building data-intensive web apps with complex UIs.
• Strong TS/JS/HTML/CSS across Angular/React or equivalent.
• Backend in Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot or JVM framework.
• REST APIs, service integrations, asynchronous processing, and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud, container tech, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or similar agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack features across UIs, backend services, databases, and integrations.
• Build workflows for ingesting, organizing, transforming, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Create interactive visual experiences for exploring large datasets.
• Extend and modernize established applications with maintainability, performance, reliability, and tests.
• Collaborate with scientists, product partners, designers, and engineers through reviews.
