Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced full stack developer to lead end-to-end development of scalable web applications. You will build interfaces with React and TypeScript, create robust APIs, and design relational databases while deploying on AWS or Azure.

The role requires strong backend experience with Node.js/Express/NestJS, an eye for scalable architecture, and CI/CD maturity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience (6-8 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive backend development with Node.js/Express/NestJS or similar.
• Understanding of software architecture and scalable design.
• Experience designing relational databases and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using Docker.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of full stack applications, from frontend interfaces to backend services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable web applications using modern technologies.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Design, optimise, and manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) to enhance productivity and development workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.
• Participate in system performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools in software development projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments or projects within Government Agencies will be an advantage.
