Job summary

Zenika Singapore is seeking a seasoned full-stack consultant who thrives at the crossroads of high-performance backend systems and modern frontend development. You’ll design and build production-grade applications using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Go, and craft elegant APIs and scalable data access.

You will mentor engineers, participate in architectural discussions, and help clients adopt solid practices like TDD, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full stack capacity.
• Strong proficiency in at most two major backend ecosystems (e.g. Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang).
• Deep practical experience building production-grade UIs with React (State management, Hooks, and TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven design, and concurrency patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and a "you build it, you run it" mentality toward cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing or optimizing automated delivery pipelines.
• A passion for clean code (SOLID, DRY) and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort working with diverse clients, explaining complex technical decisions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design and maintain full stack applications using a variety of modern frameworks (ts/js, Node.js, Python, or Go).
• Frontend Craftsmanship: Build responsive, modular user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• API Excellence: Design clean, contract-first APIs (REST, GraphQL, and/or gRPC).
• Data Strategy: Implement efficient data access layers across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Engineering Standards: Apply solid engineering practices including TDD (Test Driven Development), rigorous code reviews, and living documentation.
• Cloud & Automation: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Leadership: Participate in architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers within client teams.
