Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to collaborate across the global network to drive packaging product yield and quality improvements, as well as implement new product introductions using technical expertise and project execution.

You will leverage AI‑enabled engineering approaches, analytics, and digital tools to accelerate problem solving, enhance decision quality, and boost productivity across yield, quality, and business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5 years relevant experience in Semiconductor Device Physics, DRAM operations, wafer fabrication, parametric/electrical test and probe yield.
• 3 years relevant experience on DRAM High Performance Memory, BEOL integration, advanced packaging and layout.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, reporting and presentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote worldwide synergy for improved benchmark performance and efficiency gains through global project management and execution.
• Define strategies to ensure Packaging Technology and Front End interaction are developed and qualified ahead of product qualification.
• Lead the PI Loop taskforce to address yield and quality challenges and optimize process flow.
• Maintain and enhance domain knowledge and explore innovation opportunities with strategic thinking.
• Maintain relationships with cross‑functional peers and managers in Fab, TD, Product Engineering, and GQ.
• Demonstrate ability to present project updates and new initiative proposals to groups.
• Follow up with manager to ensure goals are met and obstacles are removed.
• Travel to Micron Fab locations as necessary for face‑to‑face work.
