Job summary

Traveloka is seeking a data-driven Fraud Analyst to strengthen its operations across consumer lending, payments, and digital commerce. The role combines hands-on analytics with fraud investigation to build the data foundation, improve case handling, and translate insights into stronger controls.

You will work across markets, analyzing patterns and partnering with Risk, Product, and Compliance to prevent losses while supporting fast, reliable travel experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fraud analytics or related field.
• Strong hands-on analytical skills with SQL and data analysis.
• Ability to independently investigate complex datasets and translate findings into actions.
• Experience in fraud, risk, payments, fintech, e-commerce, or transaction-driven industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytical needs of Fraud Operations, ensuring investigators have the right data and context.
• Build and improve the data foundation for Fraud Operations, including metrics, dashboards, and monitoring.
• Use case and transaction data to improve case prioritization, workflows, and efficiency.
• Analyze fraud incidents and patterns to identify root causes, gaps, and prevention opportunities.
• Translate investigation findings into actionable insights and partner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen controls.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of prevention initiatives via structured analysis and post-launch monitoring.
