Job summary

A*STAR Research in Singapore invites an experienced Senior Manager / Manager, Finance Analysis to lead FP&A activities across the organization. You will deliver strategic financial insights and facilitate decision-making to ensure financial health.

You will build and maintain complex financial models, provide timely reporting to senior management, and partner with business units to drive cost and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills (business partnering).
• Knowledge of data analytics and data visualization tools advantageous.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Open to Singaporeans and Singapore PRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and insightful financial updates and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive cost and operational excellence through deep technical expertise and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making (revenue/cost forecasting, cash flow, scenario analysis).
• Analyse large datasets and perform variance analysis with financial software (SAP, Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan, Jedox).
• Translate financial concepts into clear recommendations for non-financial audiences.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
