Job summary

NXP Semiconductors Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced engineer to locally drive ramp up of lead products under new technology introduction (NTI) and manage process transfers with foundries and JVs.

Qualifications

Bachelor or MSc in physics or electrical engineering.
>10 years of experience with front-end IC process integration, working in foundries’ production or development teams.
In-depth knowledge of IC devices and processes. FinFET and RF knowledge is a plus.
Strong understanding of yield enhancement techniques and data analysis.
Well verse in English and Chinese; Mandarin fluency required for supplier interactions.
Hands-on lead experience in development/transfer projects or production ramp up.
Good communication skills with ability to influence discussions.
Pro-active, creative, pragmatic, enterprising and result driven.
Familiar with managing/working with foundries, maximizing leverage.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with foundries, NXP technology groups and stakeholders to qualify and release process.
Owner for front-end process safe launch; drive ramp up and manufacturability improvements.
Interface with key customers on critical projects.
Lead projects to timely completion to support NXP business needs.
Be main decision maker on process integration, balancing project dynamics (technical, scheduling, logistics, suppliers).
Manage NTI process transfers within foundries and with JVs.
