Job summary

Nokia seeks a Principal / Senior Silicon Photonics Process Engineer to lead integration, NPI execution, and foundry collaboration for advanced silicon photonics platforms. Based in Asia, you will interface with foundry partners in Asia and internal design teams in the U.S., owning process development, yield optimization, manufacturability, and program delivery.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• 5–10+ years in silicon photonics process integration and foundry engagement.
• Strong track record in yield optimization and NPI-driven ramp.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site technical lead for silicon photonics at the foundry.
• Drive process integration across FEOL, BEOL, device, and module layers.
• Lead NPI from tape-out to ramp and qualification.
• Own yield learning, failure analysis, and process convergence.
• Manage technology transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
