Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Forward Deployment Strategist to bridge customer business problems with technical solutions. You will own the non-technical lifecycle, partner with Account Executives, map political and technical landscapes, define pilots, and guide the engineering team with a clear PRD.

The role combines executive presence with hands-on execution to land high-value FDE engagements. You will report to the Director of Forward Deployed Engineering and will drive end-to-end

Qualifications

2+ years as Deployment Strategist or 5+ years in a senior, client-facing product/delivery role at a top-tier tech company or consultancy.
Experience in value-based scoping (TCO/ROI) and agile software projects.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Excellent C-suite communication and trusted-advisor presence.

Responsibilities

Define MVP and pilot scope with value definition for multi-million dollar problems.
Write PRD guiding engineering teams and manage project from launch to adoption.
Own end-to-end product ownership and backlog prioritization; manage scope and QA.
Lead Agile execution and stakeholder communications from CEO level to engineers.
Handoff and plan for ongoing maintenance and identify next high-value engagements.
