Job summary

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Manager/Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety governance across the campus and oversee maintenance of all fire protection systems. You will ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act, Fire Code and SCDF requirements.

You will manage risk, drive emergency preparedness, coordinate with authorities, and lead a team to deliver continuous improvement in safety for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related working experience.
• At least 3 years in leading and maintaining organizational Fire Safety systems.
• Experience with Fire Safety Act, Fire Code and SCDF regulatory requirements.
• Experience in managing maintenance contracts, vendors and service providers.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain IMH's Fire Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with all SCDF regulations.
• Manage maintenance, testing and regulatory compliance of all fire protection systems across the campus.
• Coordinate with SCDF and authorities on inspections, submissions and approvals.
• Plan and conduct fire drills, training and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Oversee safety governance, audits, investigations and improvement actions.
