Job summary

Active Fire is seeking a senior leader to oversee the fire protection service and maintenance team. You will train technicians hands-on with real equipment, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across Singapore.

The role requires extensive experience in fire protection, strong leadership, and the ability to develop practical training programs. Overnight travel may be required to support sites and client interfaces.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of fire protection experience with at least 6 years in supervision or training roles
• Deep knowledge of fire protection systems and Singapore regulations
• Proven ability to deliver practical, hands-on coaching essential for technician development
• Willingness to be on-call and travel across Singapore and overseas as required

Responsibilities

• Lead the fire protection service and maintenance team and plan daily work
• Train technicians through hands-on practice with real equipment and realistic scenarios
• Ensure full compliance with SCDF, Fire Safety Act, SS 554, NFPA and related standards
• Schedule assignments, monitor performance, and maintain accurate records
• Design and deliver practical training programs using live equipment
• Conduct scenario drills including fault diagnosis and on-site repairs
• Mentor technicians to reach full operational independence
• Audit fieldwork to reinforce correct techniques and best practices
• Maintain training records, competency assessments and certifications
