Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a Finance / Group Finance professional to perform monthly financial reporting and closing for subsidiaries, preparing entries and consolidations, and supporting SAP-based accounting tasks.

The role involves regulatory reporting, collaboration with tax and business units, and driving process improvements within the finance function. A degree in accounting/finance with 2–5 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Accounting/Finance or CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit.
• Familiarity with SFRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP and reporting/consolidation tools is advantageous.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial reporting and closing for non-banking subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Prepare accounting entries, perform GL reconciliations, and support SAP accounting activities.
• Prepare and upload trial balances and consolidation reporting information per Group requirements.
• Assist in preparing management reporting schedules, including investment, exposure, and P&L analysis.
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting activities and audit coordination.
• Process billing, intercompany transactions, and cost recovery accurately and on time.
• Engage with Business Units, Tax, and stakeholders for reporting needs.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation projects, and system enhancements.
