Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business or equivalent professional certification.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in the banking and finance sector.
  • Good knowledge of MAS Notice 637 or Basel capital rules.
  • Experience in capital reporting, management or planning activities will be an advantage.
  • Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Entity Reporting (Regulatory Reporting) team.
  • Support the efficient delivery of regulatory report submissions and public disclosures on the Group's capital positions as well as other capital-related requests from regulators.
  • Support the coordination and execution of the Group-wide internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP) and capital simulation exercises.
  • Prepare management dashboards to monitor capital consumption across business segments and countries.
  • Provide capital governance and oversight including maintaining capital management related frameworks and support business initiatives through performing assessments on capital implication.
  • Support various regulatory submissions to MAS, including surveys and QIS (Quantitative Impact Study) to BCBS.
  • Build effective processes to track workflows and manage key risk areas; escalates issues for resolution.
