Job summary

Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited in Singapore seeks a seasoned financial reporting professional to lead group consolidation and statutory reporting for the group. You will prepare consolidated financial statements, P&L, balance sheets and cash flow, and support schedules while ensuring compliance with SFRS and audit requirements.

Collaborate with Group Controlling and subsidiary teams to improve reporting timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to group policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accountancy/banking, ACCA or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation or audit.
• Candidates from group consolidation or audit background would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP systems would be an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing/commodities is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Chinese; able to work with China stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and relevant sub-Groups.
• Assist in preparing Group reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow and supporting schedules.
• Prepare schedules for consolidation including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Ensure Group financials comply with statutory requirements such as SFRS.
• Collaborate with Group Controlling and subsidiaries’ finance teams to improve reporting timeliness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure year-end audit is completed within the timeline.
• Ensure Group financial control policies are followed by subsidiaries.
• Handle any other ad-hoc matters assigned.

Job description

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and relevant sub-Groups.
• Assist in preparing Group reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow and its supporting schedules and reports.
• Prepare supporting schedules for consolidation, including intercompany eliminations consolidation, adjustments and other schedules requite for financial reporting.
• Ensure Group financials and reports are in compliance with statutory requirements such as SFRS.
• Collaborate closely with Group Controlling team and subsidiaries’ finance team to improve the reporting process to enhance the quality in terms of timeliness and accuracy for Group Consolidation.
• Work closely with external auditors and finance teams to ensure year-end audit is completed seamlessly within agreed timeline.
• Ensure Group Financial control policies / guidelines are strictly followed by subsidiaries.
• Any other ad-hoc matters assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accountancy/banking, ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting, Consolidation or Audit.
• Candidates from group consolidation or audit background would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP systems would be an advantage.
• Experience in the manufacturing, commodities business would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese as this role requires to work with China stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
