Job summary

The Profile Group is assisting a Singapore-headquartered services organization to recruit a Financial Controller for its finance leadership team. This role reports to the Finance Director and oversees group accounting, reporting, and control functions while partnering with FP&A and regional management to support decision-making.

You will lead a sizeable finance team, own month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, and ensure robust governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with CA/CPA qualification and 8+ years relevant finance experience.
• Audit background preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and group consolidation experience.
• Familiar with ERP systems and leading a finance team.
• Capable of engaging senior stakeholders with confidence.
• Hands-on, commercially minded, organized and decisive under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group financial reporting and accounting operations, including month-end close and consolidation across subsidiaries.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity and balance sheet reconciliations; strengthen internal controls.
• Lead external audits, corporate tax and GST matters; ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Collaborate with FP&A and regional management to provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Drive improvements in finance policies, processes and governance; develop and mentor finance team.
