Exciting newly created Senior Financial Analyst Role (WEST)

A fast-growing engineering solutions provider serving high-growth, high-tech industries is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a newly created regional role for project finance and FP&A.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will own budgeting, forecasting, and project-finance reporting over three markets, with further expansion anticipated. Project finance is central to the role whereby you will work closely with work-in-progress (WIP), percentage-of-completion (POC), and project margins – ensuring application of the correct accounting treatments rather than pure reporting. A separate accounting team handles the day-to-day books, but this role sits at the intersection of planning and accounting, which highlights the importance of having a good foundation in accounting principles other than analytical strength.

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, with at least 4 years of finance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering setting. Hands-on FP&A and project-finance experience - particularly WIP and POC - is essential, given the project-driven nature of the business. You are comfortable operating in a lean, dynamic, evolving setup, and able to build structure as you go. MS Dynamics experience is preferred, and regional exposure is a plus rather than a requirement.
