Job summary

Michael Page International Pte Ltd seeks an FP&A leader to strengthen financial reporting, budgeting, and decision support across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. You will partner with operations to analyse costs, productivity, and profitability, while enhancing Power BI reporting and automation.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role emphasizes shaping forecasting processes, management packs, and strategic financial insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• At least 5 years of working experience.
• Experience in project-based, engineering, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Finance Director and support regional FP&A activities.
• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards and variance analysis for senior leadership.
• Partner with operations to understand project costs and drivers.
• Monitor cost trends and identify profitability improvement opportunities.
• Assist with financial presentations and investor reporting as required.
• Develop financial models to support planning and scenario analysis.
• Drive reporting improvements and Power BI dashboard implementations.
• Contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Job De ion

Report to the Finance Director, you will:

• Support regional financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.


• Prepare monthly management reports, performance dashboards and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to senior leadership


• Partner with operations teams to understand project costs, resource utilisation, productivity metrics and operational drivers


• Monitor key cost trends and identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost efficiency and business performance


• Support the preparation of financial presentations, management reporting packs and investor reporting requirements where required


• Develop and enhance financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making


• Drive reporting improvements through automation initiatives, including the development and implementation of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools


• Participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects aimed at strengthening controls, reporting accuracy and operational visibility

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business with at least 5 years of working experience


• Prior exposure to project-based, engineering, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure environments will be advantageous


• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights


• Advanced Excel capabilities exposure to Power BI, Tableau or other reporting visualisation tools would be highly preferred


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage operational teams and senior management
