Job description

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a high-performing Regional FP&A team, owning reporting, forecasting, and analysis of financial and management results across APAC. This role offers broad exposure to multiple business units, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a clear path to deepen your understanding of regional business performance and strategic decision-making within a financial services environment.

What you'll do
  • Prepare clear, insightful commentary on financial variances, articulating the business drivers behind the numbers for regional stakeholders and Head Office
  • Compile and review market submissions for completeness and accuracy, tracking deadlines and driving timely submission across country teams
  • Support the monthly forecasting cycle, including regionally managed processes and ongoing optimization of management reporting tools
  • Partner with the team on system-related projects, including UAT, issue troubleshooting, and coordination with Market FP&A teams
  • Own BAU and ad hoc reporting of APAC financial performance to senior management
  • Take ownership of regionally managed month-end close activities, including journal prep and review
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process and 5-year strategic planning cycle — preparing budget reports, board-level presentations, and standardized templates for Head Office submissions
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to lift operational efficiency
  • Be a responsive, reliable point of contact for stakeholder queries and ad hoc requests
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • 5–7 years' experience in Finance Planning & Analysis, ideally within banking, insurance, or broader financial services
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and PeopleSoft
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with complex, multi-market data sets
  • Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Exposure to system implementations, UAT, or process improvement projects
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders
