Job summary

ITech Consult AG is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12-month contract in Singapore. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and automate finance processes using Python, contributing to efficiency and accuracy across AP, AR, reconciliations and tax activities.

The role requires a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and fluency in English. Start ASAP with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 15+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations and closing activities.
• Experience with Singapore tax and statutory requirements (GST, WHT, Corporate Tax).
• Practical Python programming skills within finance or data automation.
• Advanced MS Excel and general MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions across sales, purchasing, cash flow, AP and AR.
• Maintain customer and supplier accounts; perform regular reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing incl. journal postings and schedules.
• Assist with accurate and timely processing of payments.
• Prepare documentation and support for audits (internal and external).
• Support statutory tax activities (GST, WHT, Corporate Tax).
• Use Python to automate data-related tasks and improve accounting processes.
