Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre is looking for an experienced finance professional to support financial management across accounting, costing, budgeting, forecasting and governance. You will work with business units and management to deliver timely financial information, analysis and insights to support decisions.

The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, stakeholder management and the potential to lead a team. A Big 4 background and SAP experience are considered advantages.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge including financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and provide business insights.
• Experience with system enhancements, automation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or support monthly closing, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements, audit schedules and other submissions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with meaningful insights.
• Perform costing and profitability analysis to support business decisions.
• Provide financial advice and support to business units and departments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, reporting efficiency and system usage.
• Participate in system enhancements, automation and process improvements.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Guide and develop team members where applicable.
