Responsibilities

• Provide technical services, application support, troubleshooting, and engineering assistance for electrical valve actuators, digital instrumentation, and related equipment.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets, drawings, technical documentation, and application requirements to determine appropriate product selection, configuration, and application.
• Conduct site visits, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and technical assessments at customer and project sites.
• Support the installation, start-up, commissioning, functional testing, and troubleshooting of actuators, instrumentation, and related systems.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), loop checks, calibration, functional testing, equipment verification, and other technical acceptance activities, where required.
• Diagnose equipment failures and technical issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare service reports, technical reports, inspection reports, commissioning records, troubleshooting reports, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site support to customers, contractors, and other stakeholders on equipment installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Develop and improve service capabilities, technical procedures, troubleshooting methodologies, and application solutions to enhance overall service support.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, application development, product modification, and localization of technical solutions based on customer and field requirements.
• Support the evaluation, testing, and introduction of new products and technologies, including technical assessments, product testing, and field validation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, product training, and customer technical workshops, where required.
• Maintain and continuously develop technical knowledge of relevant products, industry standards, applications, and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers and service personnel, where required.
• Coordinate with principals, manufacturers, and service partners to obtain specialist technical support for repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and product-related issues.
• Support the development and maintenance of service tools, test equipment, spare-parts requirements, and technical resources to strengthen field service capabilities.
• Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, applicable industry standards, and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
