Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Assistant/Senior Operations Officer, Field Enforcement & Operations, to join a team carrying out challenging enforcement activities to safeguard public health in Singapore. The role involves coordinating responses, collecting information, and working across agencies.

The successful candidate will support operations, ensure evidence integrity, and prepare post‑operation reports, with potential for long-term involvement in policy alignment and inter‑agency liaison.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous with eyes for details.
• Good time management and ability to balance field work with admin tasks.
• Experience in field operations will be an advantage.
• Medically fit due to physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage feedback from the public or other law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct screenings and gather information or intel as needed.
• Plan surveillance or operations to address feedback.
• Carry out surveillance/operations to arrest/detain suspects and preserve evidence chain.
• Record contemporaneous statements and control the scene after incidents.
• Prepare and submit post‑operation reports within deadlines.
• Assist to draft/review SOPs to align with policies.
• Liaise with Legal teams/AGC for prosecutions as needed.
• Arrange meetings with other agencies to coordinate enforcement.
• Collaborate with foreign law enforcement on complex cases.
