Responsibilities

• Manage feedback from the public or other law enforcement agencies.

• Record contemporaneous statements and control the scene after incidents.
• Prepare and submit post‑operation reports within deadlines.
• Assist to draft/review SOPs to align with policies.
• Liaise with Legal teams/AGC for prosecutions as needed.
• Arrange meetings with other agencies to coordinate enforcement.
• Collaborate with foreign law enforcement on complex cases.

[What the role is]

As an Assistant/Senior Operations Officer, Field Enforcement & Operations, you will be part of a team to undertake a range of challenging enforcement activities to safeguard public health.

[What you will be working on]

The Assistant/Senior Operations Officer will be part of the team to undertake a range of challenging enforcement operations including, but not limited to, the following:

• Manage feedback received from members of public or other law enforcement agencies
• Conduct appropriate screenings, where necessary, and gather necessary information or intel
• Plan surveiliance or operations accordingly to address the feedback
• Carry out surveilence/operations as a team to arrest/detain suspects found to have contravened any laws under HSA's purview
• Upon arrest/detainment, ensure to record contemporaneous statements from suspects, as well as to control and process scene to ensure evidence chain is preserved
• Prepare and submit post operations reports within the stipulated time
• Where appropriate, assist Management to draft or review SOPs to align with HSA's policies and strategies
• Liaise with HSA's Legal team and/or the AGC on cases that are undergoing prosecution. Where necessary, to assist to draft court papers or documentations required for prosecution cases
• Arrange or attend meetings with other law enforcement agencies to coordinate enforcement efforts
• May liaise and work together with foreign law enforcement agencies on possible syndicates

The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
