Job summary

Serial Microelectronics is seeking a Senior/Field Application Engineer in Singapore to support design-in activities and customer engagements across the Asia Pacific region.

You will collaborate with Product Marketing and suppliers to drive demand creation, provide pre-sales technical support, and deliver product trainings while helping resolve applications issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in product development and/or field application.
• Competent technical knowledge of electronics circuitry and components; Analog and Power Management; embedded MCU and AI.
• Self-driven, outgoing personality, good communication skills, fast learner with interest in learning a wide range of products.
• Ability to present and articulate the product comprehensively.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Field Application Manager and work with Product Marketing on demand creation for assigned product lines.

• Involve in pre-sales activities; promote product and provide technical support during development.

Senior/Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Field Application Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the Product Marketing team in implementing demand creation strategies for the assigned product lines.

• Work closely with Supplier to create design activities with potential customers, and regular monitoring and tracking of progress of the activities

• Involve in pre-sales activities; Promote product, provide recommendation and technical support to customer during their product development phase

• Conduct technical training presentation and product training to internal/external customers

• Resolve quality, technical, and application issues related to the represented product lines

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in product development and or field application. Candidate with good track records shall be considered for senior position

• Competent technical knowledge and good understanding of different electronics circuitry and components; Analog and Power Management; embedded MCU and AI

• Self-driven, out-going personalities, good communication skill, and a fast learner with keen interest in learning a wide range of products and applications

• Ability to present and articulate the product comprehensively
