Job summary

Dyson Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Analyst to perform static, dynamic, and structural analyses for product development across global teams. You will drive design decisions using credible simulations and work closely with Design Engineers to mitigate risks.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in mechanical analysis, strong CAD/CAE proficiency (AN SYS, Abaqus, Moldflow), and familiarity with data acquisition tools (MATLAB, LabVIEW).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical product analysis and development experience.
• Proficient with CAD/CAE tools and FEA methods.
• Experience with FEA automation or ML is a plus.
• Experience with measurement and data acquisition tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, and structural thermal-mechanical analyses with minimal guidance.
• Drive design decisions using credible simulations; collaborate with Design Engineers.
• Proactively assess risks, solve problems, and communicate issues clearly.
• Plan, prioritize, and ensure timely handover of deliverables across teams and locations.
• Learn new technical skills as needed through self-learning and research.
• Present findings and mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams.
• Promote technical excellence, best practices, and develop new tools to enhance performance.
