Job summary

MUIS invites a Senior Executive/Manager to lead family development initiatives across its mosques and districts. You will shape family support systems, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive evidence-based programmes with partners from government, community organisations and research bodies.

You will mentor Family Development Officers, deploy playbooks for standardised delivery, and actively participate in inter-agency family empowerment efforts.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in community and social work, family development and leadership roles.
• Experience managing networks, programme management and team leadership.
• Strong commitment to Islamic values and principles.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environments.
• Adaptability in managing complex family intervention programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead family support systems across mosques, incl. marriage enrichment, parenting, and family guidance.
• Manage family intervention programmes across mosques and districts.
• Coordinate deployment of FDOs and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and deploy Family Playbooks for mosques.
• Mentor and train FDOs in engagement methodologies.
• Collaborate with research and data analytics partners for evaluation.
• Represent MUIS in inter-agency committees and national family initiatives.
