Job summary

SMRT Buses Ltd, a subsidiary of SMRT Corporation, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to oversee daily infrastructure and facilities operations across depots and interchanges in Singapore. You will supervise contractors, perform inspections, and ensure safety and reliability of facilities.

The role requires 2–5 years in facilities management or related fields, with a focus on coordinating maintenance, safety, and compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or contractor supervision.
• Diploma or related engineering/Facilities Management qualification.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and coordinate with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily infrastructure and facilities maintenance at bus depots, interchanges, and operational premises.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and operational conditions.
• Identify defects and safety hazards; coordinate timely rectification with contractors.
• Monitor preventive, corrective, breakdown, and ad-hoc maintenance per standards and schedules.
• Supervise outsourced contractors and service providers; monitor performance and compliance.
• Verify completed works and end service reports; address defects promptly.
• Coordinate site meetings, inspections, and work permits for maintenance projects.
• Raise asset requests, purchase orders, and monitor invoices and documents.
