Raffles Institution in Singapore invites an experienced Facilities & Estate Manager to oversee campus operations, security, and logistics for the school and leased spaces. You will manage contracts, budgets, and cross-coverage for related FM services, driving efficiency and a safe, well-run campus environment.
The role is a 2-year contract (renewable), requiring a Diploma or Higher NITEC with 5+ years in estate management and a track record in sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance.
Plan and coordinate timely logistical support for school’s curriculum and events (both internal and external)
Manage campus security operations, including security manpower and electronic security systems (e.g. CCTV, Electronic access control, intrusion detection, Automatic roller shutter and visitor management, etc.)
Oversee campus logistics operations, including furniture and equipment movements, storage, deliveries and disposal activities
Oversee the operations of leased facilities and services, including the school canteen, vending machines, and other tenancy agreements
Administer service contracts within the portfolio, monitor contractor performance and KPIs and support procurement, tender and contract renewal exercises
Review quotations and create Work Orders for contractors to carry out the necessary security, events and logistics works in adherence to standard procedures & policies
Prepare budgets, monitor expenditure and provide regular operational reports and recommendations to management
Review operational processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency, service delivery and the overall campus experience
Provide operational support and cross-coverage for other FM services, including but not limited to cleaning, pest control, landscape and other facilities functions, as required
Any other duties assigned by the school in support of its operational and organisational needs
Diploma or Higher NITEC with at least 5 years of relevant Estate management experience or Green Mark Accredited Professional/ Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management)
Experience or have worked in Sustainability and Green Initiatives work
Proficient in Regulatory Compliance to Workplace Safety & Health Act and/or good understanding of NEA’s Environmental Sanitation Regime protocol will be an added advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and good eye for detail
Clear and logical thinking
Good organisation and time management skills with ability to work independently on tight deadlines and under pressure
Good customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate and professional yet friendly working relationships with staff
