Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer to lead and support Global Facilities Engineering efforts across UPW, WWT, and Waste Chemical systems worldwide. You will provide technical leadership, design, and construction support, collaborating with internal partners to standardize practices and improve reliability.

Role involves travel and overseeing engineering activities from design through construction, with emphasis on sustainability and efficiency, aligned with Micron's corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of UPW/WWT/Waste Chemical experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience designing Facilities and Semiconductor UPW/WWT Systems including UPW, Reclaim Water, and distribution systems.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills and service demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally 25–40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Design and Construction projects in Facilities Infrastructure Expansion.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, codes, and regulations.
• Develop and refine system design concepts for deployment.
• Communicate effectively with Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing partners to meet objectives.
• Review design packages and provide detailed comments for project success.
• Assist with cost and schedule estimates and justifications for approvals.
• Supervise progress and provide engineering input during construction as needed.
• Lead capacity databases and system operating trends across the network.
• Review scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities modifications.
