Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer to lead the electrical and power team, supporting shipyard operations and managing projects covering electrical systems, HVAC, power supply, and infrastructure. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely technical reporting.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive energy efficiency improvements, and coordinate with contractors while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial, Marine, or Infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, preventive maintenance, and facility operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and power team in supporting vessels during shipyard operations.
• Manage facility engineering projects involving electrical systems, HVAC, power supply, energy storage, plumbing, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and condition assessments of facility systems and recommend improvement plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, maintenance schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and facility performance.
