Job summary

staffking pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to lead the electrical and power team during shipyard operations. You will oversee projects involving electrical systems, HVAC, power distribution, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in engineering and 3-5 years of experience in facilities or marine/infrastructure projects. You will drive maintenance programs, inspections, and continuous improvement for energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities/engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and power team in supporting vessels during shipyard operations.
• Manage facility engineering projects involving electrical systems, HVAC, power supply, energy storage, plumbing, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and condition assessments of facility systems and recommend improvement plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, maintenance schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and facility performance.
