Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to support installation, testing, start-up and commissioning of generator sets and marine propulsion engines.

You will collaborate with customers, project engineers and internal teams on industrial, marine, power generation and oil & gas projects, with opportunities for local and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in power generation, generator sets, industrial equipment, marine, electrical power or oil & gas industries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct application, installation and site inspections for power generation equipment.
• Perform start-up, testing and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines at industrial, marine, offshore and land-based sites.
• Carry out generator synchronisation, paralleling and control system testing.
• Liaise with customers, project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth commissioning and project completion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control system issues during commissioning.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings for installation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Support workshop activities including mechanical and electrical works, generator testing and rental operations when required.
• Prepare commissioning reports, service reports and other technical documentation.
• Support overseas commissioning projects when required.

About the Role

• We are looking for a hands-on Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to support the installation, testing, start-up and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines.
• You will work closely with customers, project engineers and internal technical teams on industrial, marine, power generation and oil & gas projects, with opportunities to gain exposure to both local and overseas commissioning projects.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Possess 2–3 years of relevant experience in power generation, generator sets, industrial equipment, marine, electrical power or oil & gas industries.
