Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced façade engineer to lead design and engineering for major commercial, residential and mixed-use developments in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Façade Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10–15 years in façade engineering, consultancy, architectural design or building envelope design.
• Proven experience leading façade design for large, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of curtain walls, glazing, metal/stone/cladding, structural glass.
• Familiar with international façade standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of façade systems for major developments.
• Manage façade projects from concept to completion.
• Provide technical leadership on curtain wall, glazing and cladding systems.
• Review drawings, calculations, specs, shop drawings and submissions.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers.

• Proven experience in leading façade design and engineering for large-scale and complex building projects.

• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, glazing, aluminium/metal cladding, stone cladding, composite panels and structural glass.

• Experience in façade refurbishment, defect investigation, remediation and existing-building assessment is an advantage.

• Good understanding of façade performance, constructability, materials, detailing and installation methodologies.
